Tour Itinerary
Day 1: 22 April - Istanbul
Your tour commences at 1pm from your hotel. This afternoon we have planned a panoramic sightseeing tour. Sit back and relax as we show you Istanbul’s most famous landmarks including the Blue Mosque, the Byzantine Hippodrome, and St Sophia Cathedral. Our sightseeing ends amongst the thousands of shops in the Grand Bazaar.
Your central Istanbul Hotel: 4 star Feronya Hotel.
Day 2: 23 April - Gallipoli
Departing Istanbul early we arrive onto the Gallipoli peninsula around lunchtime. We will visit the Anzac Commemorative site, Anzac Cove, Shrapnel Valley and Beach Cemetery - home to one of Australia's most legendary soldiers, Private John Simpson. We also visit the Kabatepe War Museum with its collection of war relics. Our day ends by crossing the Dardanelles by ferry, to Canakkale where we stay for the next three nights. Tonight, enjoy a presentation by an expert Australian War Historian.

Day 3: 24 April - Gallipoli
This morning we visit the Anzac Memorials at Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair, Walker’s Ridge, the Nek and the surrounding trenches. This afternoon we have included an excursion to the ancient ruins of Troy.

Day 4: 25 April - Gallipoli - ANZAC Day
Departure from your hotel is scheduled well before midnight to ensure we arrive at the ANZAC Commemorative site in ample time for the Dawn Service at 5.30am. Following the Dawn Service you will have a choice of attending either the Australian or New Zealand National Services at Lone Pine or Chunuk Bair. A breakfast pack has been included today.

Day 5: 26 April - To Istanbul
Sadly your tour ends on arrival in Istanbul around 2pm. We recommend that you do not book flights departing Istanbul before 5 pm today. Post tour accommodation can be arranged in Istanbul.
