Tour manager and driver went above and beyond to ensure everyone enjoyed themselves. All meals were excellent. Very good balance between group activities and free time. An extremely good and memorable Christmas.

My wife and I travel once or twice a year internationally and tours come and tours go. With most tours there are difficulties - pickups that do not arrive, travel claims, hotels that do not meet expectation on what was advertised, tours that were overpriced for what was provided, etc.
I am not one to pass on a slap on the back without due cause - I believe if you have a job to do, then do it. However, I must pass on my congratulations to Albatross on our recent Swiss New Year break at the Hotel Oberland in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. As this was an unescorted tour, you instructions were easy to read and follow. I now know the Swiss rail system is on time and frequent but when I first arrived this was unknown so the timetables you provided were of great assistance. The staff at the Hotel Oberland were very friendly and of great assistance when required. I had a broken arm during this visit and on checkout there was no problem, if fact it was offered, to take our luggage to the station.
This is the second Albatross tour that we have undertaken; the first was Gallipoli and Ancient Civilizations (don't know if this is the correct name) in April 2006 which was perfect in organisation, timing, guide interaction (he was good), etc.
With all honesty I can say you understand how to deliver. Please keep up the good work as a travel provider.

The whole tour was fantastic. There were so many highlights it is impossible to list them all. The real icing on the cake was the fact it snowed on Christmas day - it really made the whole trip worthwhile.
The medieval banquet was just so good, we did not want it to end. The Manager at Hornberg, Carson, was just the best and very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. If there was to be a complaint about the Hornberg Schloss, it would be that they put on so much food, we just could not help but put on weight. This of course meant that we had to go for more hikes in the snow. So if this is a complaint, I am sure that Carson and staff would love to receive many many more. We are recommending the Hornberg Schloss to everyone that we talk to - it was just so good.
Our only regret was that the tour was too short. We enjoyed it so much that we will combine two tours in future. You are on the money with having the tours as all inclusive - it is great to know that there are no nasty surprises at the end.

The Austrian White Christmas tour was simply fantastic. We enjoyed every minute of it.
Our guide was so interesting and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her. Her's knowledge of Austria and Austrian history made us look forward to her commentary every day of the trip.
The accommodation in Leogang was very cosy and the atmosphere of the village seemed to be just right to celebrate Christmas. As you know there was plenty of snow around.
I'd have no hesitation is recommending this our any of your tours to clients, friends and anyone else who is looking at travelling overseas.
Thanks again to Albatross Tours for making Christmas 2010, a special one to remember.

The German Christmas Break tour was great, relaxing with plenty of snow and it even snowed on Christmas Day.
We enjoyed the tour very much and hope to visit that area again.
Our tour leader was great and continually asked everyone if everything was OK and she could help and even joined in the festivities singing along with everyone, it was great.

I have just returned from the ‘Fairytale White Christmas’ in Bavaria and ‘New Year in Austria’ and I have to tell you its one of the best that I have had.
I though the value for money for just excellent. The hotels were superb the food so delicious. The daily trips were so different. I had not been to Germany or Austria before this trip. I loved the castle, the markets, the sleigh rides and the cable cars to the top of the mountains we had lots of snow!
I look forward to repeating this holiday again, it was a spectacular and wonderful experience and I will happily travel with Albatross again.

The Christmas in an Italian Castle tour very well researched itinerary which encapsulates the essential elements of a great European Christmas culminating in the superb CastelBrando which favoured us with a Christmas Day snowfall – the ultimate delight which provided days of picture perfect white scenery – I would and will do it all again.

My husband and I have recently returned from one of your tours - Christmas in a Swiss Spa Resort - and I would like to personally thank you all for giving us the opportunity to experience something unique to us.......A WHITE CHRISTMAS!
On arrival in Munich it began to "snow" - right on cue - and much to everyone's delight the snow was evident until we left the Alps and came to foggy and smoggy Lucerne! To add to our pleasures the sun shone all day we were in the Zermatt area! How perfect!
The visit to Hallstatt was probably the highlight for me but there were many places and events that gave gasps of approval.
Our stay at the Seerose Hotel was unbelievable - what a wonderful welcome from that venue!
The meals on tour were excellent. The hotels well chosen.
Swimming in a hot springs spa in Leukerbad (with the snow falling on our heads) was quite an experience never to be forgotten.
Our Tour Guide was very professional and made it all " fall into place". The bus driver kept us safe and top marks to both Guide and Driver!

I have just arrived home after the 2011 Christmas in a Swiss Spa Resort and New Year in Paris Tours with Albatross.
Firstly I would like to congratulate Albatross for the overall excellence in tour management. It was my first tour with Albatross and right from the start I was very impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail especially on the Christmas tour. I have travelled extensively over the years on different tours and must say Albatross has surpassed all my expectations and I would highly recommend them to my friends in the future.
Monica was our tour guide and she is just a gem. She is on the ball the whole time and tried to cater to all the different needs of many different personalities. She has researched her regions very well and was most informative to us while travelling on the coach. Not to mention her great personality and sense of humour which kept all the Australians quite amused. She also made sure everyone was settled in ok and happy. The Christmas tour was just fabulous with plenty of snow and I was amazed that each new day something more exciting was in store for us. John our coach driver also did a fantastic job and kept everyone relaxed and safe.
