Private European Group Tours
We do private European group tours!
Albatross Tours can design, create and operate a private group tour to suit your group’s needs to the UK, Europe and Turkey.
We have been creating and operating private tailor made European group tours for 20 years. Our dedicated and enthusiastic team has enormous practical experience handling hundreds of unique European group travel itineraries for School groups, Sporting Groups, Singles Clubs, Choral and Orchestral Groups and a wide range of special interest groups.
We can design a tour to suit your group’s needs
We can cater for any group size or request. Tell us what you want and when you want it, group size, possible theme, ideas, tour pace, highlights you envisage…and we will tailor make a tour based on your group’s requirements.
Alternatively if you already have an itinerary in mind we can certainly handle it… We will pass a professional eye over it, add a suggestion here or there, check the local opening and closing times, driving distances and legal driving hours, to make sure it ‘works’!
What is a group?
Generally, in Europe and the UK, hotels and services offer beneficial rates to groups of 20 people or more. For Turkey group rates can be achieved with 10 - 15 people. Overall, it really depends on your proposed style of touring and your specific touring destination.
Talk with us and our specially trained staff will apply their skill and expertise to simplify your methods of touring to enable you to achieve a lowest possible viable price.

- We supply genuine, unbiased advice every time

I recently worked with Albatross Tours to arrange the WA Premiers ANZAC tour 2015 to Gallipoli.
I have booked group tours with them previously and as usual I was very impressed with the extremely efficient service and excellent arrangements provided by Albatross Tours. They have a wealth of knowledge on the area which certainly makes you feel confident knowing that the group are in good hands.
I would strongly recommend Albatross Tours to anyone planning a tour.
WA Premiers Group ANZAC Day Tour
Goondiwindi State High School has had a long affinity with Albatross Tours. Since 2006 we have run Commemorative Tours every second year to the Western Front and Gallipoli for the Anzac Day services.
We have dealt exclusively with Albatross Tours and have been impressed every time with all aspects of the tour planning, preparation and execution stages.
Albatross Tours are accommodating of our requests and build the itinerary around these. I have complete confidence in their ability to provide us with what we want and look forward to working with them for our future tours.

'Gundy to Gallipoli ANZAC Tours'
Since 1999, our school History project has encompassed five overseas commemorative tours. Whilst the students and staff have been the ‘heart and soul’ of the tours, Albatross has been the ‘brains and the brawn’. They have made the tours ‘happen’ and are a major factor in the ongoing success of the project.
I know what I want from my tours. Albatross knows how to make it all happen.
I have complete confidence in Albatross’ ability to manage our land and air arrangements. I have specific expectations of what I want to achieve with my tours and the Albatross staff have consistently worked with me to achieve my goals in a practical and cost effective manner.

Lest We Forget Project
In August 2008 The Pipes and Drums of The Scots School Bathurst NSW competed at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow Scotland.
As Tour Director I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for the professionalism, effort and helpfulness of the staff at Albatross Tours.
The complexities of taking a school band to the other side of the world are significant but Albatross Tours guided us through with humour, grace and patience. The Albatross staff were always willing and available to answer questions and they smoothed the way by continually finding creative solutions and doing what we thought was impossible. All aspects of the tour from accommodation, coaches, guides, local tours and connections were planned in detail and ran so smoothly. It was a pleasure and reassuring to work with people who knew their job so well. I am pleased to recommend Albatross Tours for your school group tour. We have already begun to plan for our next adventure!

My name is Julie Reece and I am a teacher at Birdwood High School in South Australia. I have been teaching for 34 years and have run commemorative trips for students since 2001. I have used the services of Albatross Tours exclusively since 2005 and with all the trips (2006-08-10) have worked closely with Albatross Travel in the organization and planning of my group tours. The 2006 group numbered 22 and the 2008 grew to 32 in total. I have absolute faith in Albatross Tours as they have provided me with a first rate service over the years. Albatross Tours has an attention to detail and planning that is unequalled and as the supervising teacher and leader of the tours, I always feel confident that the itinerary will run smoothly and efficiently. I have not been disappointed.
Taking high school students overseas on a school trip is a serious business and my employer, the Department of Education and Children’s Services of South Australia has very strict rules and protocols to follow. Everything has to be perfect in relation to planning and safety so it is crucial that I have total faith in the travel provider. There has never been an issue where Albatross has failed to deliver, they have overseen our projects with consummate professionalism.
I teach in South Australia and Albatross is based in Brisbane, Queensland. Despite being the other side of the country, this has had no impact on the level of communication or service received. You do not have to be in the same location to use the services of Albatross: it has made no difference at all to my planning.
In conclusion my advice to any teacher who is considering taking a group overseas to strongly consider Albatross Tours, they will not be disappointed. In my book ‘Connecting Spirits 2006’ I acknowledged the work and the high level of excellence provided by Albatross Tours. I recommend them to your notice.

Our college booked an overseas trip with Albatross Tours in 2008 and were delighted with the service provided by this travel company. The tours and transport arranged were excellent and the accommodation well placed for exploring the cities we visited. We plan to repeat the experience in 2010.

At Travelscene on Capri we have been using Albatross Tours for many years for quite a number of our small specialised groups, organising tours such as Provence and the Christmas Markets of Germany and Austria. Their professionalism and organisation is second to none and I would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to put together their own private group tour.
